WISDOM TEETH
------------------

Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, typically begin eruption around the ages of 15-19. Over 90% of the time, wisdom teeth are not able to fully erupt into the mouth and be functional. Extraction of wisdom teeth is necessary if the teeth cannot be maintained in a hygienic environment. They pose risks to adjacent teeth and soft tissues and can lead to issues such as infections or bone loss. As wisdom teeth develop, their eruption can cause crowding or shifting of teeth. We successfully remove wisdom teeth on a daily basis in the office utilizing modern IV sedation techniques.
